Hello,
I’m considering buying a laptop in a few weeks.
I assume it will have Windows 10, which I currently have.
Additionally, I purchased (I do mean purchased, it’s not a subscription) the MICROSOFT OFFICE HOME AND STUDENT 2013 pack. I have the registration key, but it is installed on my old trusty PC. I know that we are not allowed to use it on 2 PCs, so when I get the new one, how do I activate it on the new device without any issues?
I’m considering buying Outlook separately (since I still have an old 2003 version since the new 2013 PACK I purchased did not include Outlook)… But I think I will be offered the purchase of the “latest version” of Outlook. Is it okay if I have my Office 2013 pack installed simultaneously? (I assume no, since my Outlook 2003 currently works well with the 2013 pack at the same time).
I have another question regarding data transfer to the new PC, but I think I need to ask it in another part of the forum… to be continued…
Thank you!

No, after various searches, I just found a reassuring answer since MICROSOFT has changed its mind and transfers are now possible! Phew!!! See the link below.
That said, I will still contact them to avoid any unpleasant surprises and to make sure they don't need to "devalidate" "revalidate" by phone, you never know.
