Toshiba TV Issue

Question

Hello, one of my children pressed a button on my Toshiba TV 40 LV833G and it turned off. I can't seem to turn it back on; it looks like it's in standby mode and I no longer have the remote control.

I need your help, thank you.

Apparemment, elle se serait mise en sécurité. Essaye de rester appuyé au moins 1 minute sur le bouton power pour la réinitialiser.

Good evening. Use the manual buttons. Press the "Power" button to wake it up. A short or long press, we'll see.

On the right side of the TV, there isn't this type of button?

 Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
                              Especially when it's not there...

Thank you for your responses; it seems that it's not working. Apparently, my son pressed several buttons on the side of the TV, and a message appeared on the screen: "screen lock." Since then, nothing happens; it stays on standby.

I can't find the manual for your device, but the manual for the 40LV733 shows a possible button lock for the television on page 46.

A lock that will pose a problem without the remote control.
