Connecting a turntable to a mini hi-fi system
Solved
Hello everyone
I want to connect a turntable to my Technics SE-HD560 hi-fi system, which only has a "phone" output on the front panel. On the tuner compartment, I have an EXT IN/OUT (WHITE/RED) output.
For now, I haven't bought a turntable yet.
I want to know if I can connect a turntable to this hi-fi system? If so, what connections should I use; if not, what solutions do I have?
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
The "phone" socket is an output for headphones, not an input. However, if you have a red and white RCA input, it will be possible, but what do you mean by "tuner compartment" ???
The turntable will need to be equipped with a line output and not just a phono output; otherwise, you will need to buy an external RIAA correction preamplifier as well.
