Connect a vintage speaker to a jack socket

Question

Hello, I salvaged the speakers from an old sound system. I was wondering if it was possible to connect them to a jack plug and plug them into my computer. If so, how can I do that? Thanks

Hello I could tell you how to do it, but you're going to end up with a poor result. Keep in mind that the speakers (type 2.0 or 2.1) you see on the market are equipped with an amplifier inside.
