Hello, after handling my Gigaset AS 405 A landline phone, I no longer hear the tone when I put it back on the base, the one that indicates it is properly placed. How can I get it back?

Best regards, thank you.

    Hello,
You must have disabled the warning tone.
Excerpt from the manual on page 21

    The manual: http://gse.gigaset.com/fileadmin/legacy-assets/CustomerCare/Manuals/AS4x/A415_A415A_AS405_AS405A/A31008-M2501-F101-1-2X19_fr_CH.pdf
It is very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
    Especially when it isn't there...

However, the instructions on page 21 seem clear to me!

        Press the menu button
With the navigation button (down arrow) scroll down to Audio settings, click OK, then scroll down to Alert tone, press OK, Activate should appear, select it with the navigator and press OK and then press Hang up.
