Sound issue after cleaning with CCleaner

Hello,

I have a software that cleans my computer "C CLEANER". I've been using it for a while now, but yesterday, after a cleanup, when my computer restarted (which is normal after cleaning), I noticed that the sound on my computer was no longer working.
There is a small red cross on the sound logo indicating that it is disabled, however, when I click on it, it opens a "troubleshooting" page that doesn't actually resolve anything.. According to a friend, "the drivers for my sound card have been removed".

I still have a glimmer of hope; if anyone has a solution, I would be very grateful!

Have a lovely evening.

    What is the EXACT model of your PC?
    What operating system do you have.. Windows 10 .. Windows 8.1?

    Hello

    I have a software that cleans my computer called "C CLEANER". I've been using it for a while, but yesterday, after a cleaning, while my computer was restarting (which is normal after cleaning), I noticed that the sound on my computer wasn’t working anymore.

    I don't think your problem comes from using Ccleaner

    However, the restart after use is not "normal" (it doesn't do that automatically)

    Since your problem is recent, do a system restore to a date before your issue

    Let me know how it goes

      Good evening, thank you for your response!
      I tried, but in order to perform the system restore, I need to create a restore point. I have no idea how to go about it, without that, I can't move on to the next step..

    Hello,

    Problem with using cleaning software that is useless...

    Try a system restore on Windows that allows you to go back to a previous restore point (if available) to regain a functional Windows.
    => https://www.malekal.com/restauration-systeme-windows/
    => https://www.commentcamarche.net/informatique/windows/147-restaurer-windows-avec-les-points-de-restauration/

    To do this:

    Windows key + R
    type rstrui.exe and OK.
    Follow the instructions.

      I tried, but in order to restore the system I need to create a restore point, I absolutely have no idea how to go about it, without that, I can't move on to the next step.

      I am unable to complete the procedure..
      In the updates on my computer, I have a suggestion: "Remove everything and reset Windows - if you want to recycle your PC or restore it, you can reset it to its factory settings - Start"
      Do you think this could solve my problem?

    I tried, but to restore the system you need to create a restore point

    You should not create a restore point, but use an "existing" restore point that is dated before your issue

    You posted your message in W8.1, is your PC really running on W8.1?

      It says "no restore point has been created on your computer's system drive. to create a restore point, open system protection"
      when I open it, I arrive at the system properties with lots of different settings. I don't want to do something stupid...

    It says "no restore point has been created on your computer's system drive. To create a restore point, open system protection."

    This means you don't have a restore point; I think system restore is not enabled on your PC.

    You can check in the device manager if you have any ? or /!\ yellow warnings.

    To access it, right-click on Start (at the bottom left) and in the context menu, click on Device Manager.

    See you later!
