Hello,
I recently acquired an Asus Transformer Book TX300 laptop, and I'm a bit worried: when I leave my computer in sleep mode for too long (8 hours) and then pick it up again, I notice that the touchscreen no longer works (this has happened to me about 6 times). I then resort to advice I found online, along with some luck and voodoo magic to get it working again (usually after the battery has completely drained). But today, nothing works. From what I've seen on various forums, it's a recurring issue that only needs a software update to be resolved, but in the meantime, is there any way to fix the problem? Or is there simply a way to wake the touchscreen from its "sleep"? Everything else works perfectly.
Thank you for your responses.
Configuration: Windows 8 / Chrome 27.0.1453.110

Hello,
I had a similar issue with an Asus T100, the touchscreen stopped working completely. If it helps, I managed to fix it by digging through the maintenance center in Windows 8.
The device corresponding to the touchscreen (I2C HID, in the human interface devices) showed an error on the driver. Through the troubleshooting utility, I disabled and then re-enabled it, and it’s been working since.

Thank you very much in any case! :)
For those who didn't quite understand how to do it, search (via the charms bar in Windows 8 or the search in Windows 10) in the "Device Manager" under the "Human Interface Devices" tab and there you'll find "I2C HID Device", disable it and then re-enable it! The touch will be back ;)
