Hello, I would like to know if this has ever happened to you, and if so, what it is and who is behind it because I just received a blank SMS with nothing in it from a 21-digit number, and it states that it was received in 2005! Have I been hacked? Ps: I have an iPhone

This could potentially be a mobile scam among the following:

"ping call": your phone rings briefly to entice you to call back. When you call this number, a voicemail tells you that you have won a gift, but you must call a number (premium rate...).
"spam SMS": this refers to an SMS like "missed call", "MMS received, check the link...", "DIFF MESSAGE", or an empty SMS that, when you respond, leads the user to visit a website, which in turn directs them to a premium rate number.
"voice spam": the call comes from a regular number and goes directly to your voicemail. Using a pre-recorded voicemail message, often a female voice, you are invited to call back a number (premium rate).
