I just received a letter regarding the rent payment notice from a tenant, in PDF format, as usual. However, I can't open it on my computer; I see the following message: this page contains an error, Acrobat may not display this page correctly. In fact, the page doesn't display at all!
I should mention that yesterday, Acrobat prompted me for a new update, which I accepted. Maybe I shouldn't have? Or could there have been an error on the sender's part?
Would it be possible for you to help me? I would be very grateful and I thank you very much in advance.

Hello,
So there are several possibilities:
Either Adobe Reader is acting up after its update.
Or the PDF in question contains errors.
Or the sender messed up when sending the PDF as an attachment.
Then, and this is just my opinion, Adobe Reader is quite heavy; what I mean is that if you only need it to read your PDFs, there are software options that are just as capable and much lighter for reading PDFs.
Sumatra PDF which is a PDF viewer.
Foxit Reader which is software specifically designed as an alternative for opening PDF files. It is more comprehensive than Sumatra but much lighter than Acrobat Reader.
Try opening your document with one of the two or both and let me know.
Best regards
