Good evening,
I have an ASUS R511L laptop that I recently acquired for Christmas.
I noticed today that after a long charge, it shows on the battery icon: "99% available (plugged in, not charging)."
I have already searched online but could not find any answers that clarify this issue for me.
Therefore, I would like to know if it is normal for this to be displayed, or if it is a problem, and if so, what should I do?
Thank you in advance for your responses!

Hello,
if your PC is discharging at a "normal" rate, it's not a problem. -
Hello.
It's therefore recent.
There is a driver that is meant to "control" the battery.
In some cases, you need to uninstall the driver and restart the PC.
=> http://packard-bell-fr.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/19024/~/le-message-indique%3A-branch%C3%A9,-pas-en-charge (applicable to laptops other than PBELL)
If after restarting, no improvement => go back to the Device Manager.
And check if the previously uninstalled driver has reinstalled itself.
Otherwise, right-click on Battery > Scan for hardware changes.
