Hello,
I am using an iPhone 6S Plus and I want to share my location with my boyfriend, but I'm having trouble. He is able to share his, but when I go to the same spot as him to activate it (that is, at the contact information level in the messages), when I click on "Share My Location," the option is grayed out, but when I click on it and select "Share Indefinitely," nothing works..

Thank you for your understanding,
Best regards,
Nausica.

Configuration: Mac OS X (10.12) / Safari 10.0

Hello, to share your location, you need to be connected to the internet, the location service must also be enabled, and the Messages app must be authorized.

To get started, go to Settings, then iCloud, at the bottom of the page choose Share my Location and enable the Share my Location option.

Go to Settings, then Privacy, tap on Location Services, enable Location Services, scroll down this page and check in Messages (tap on it) and make sure "While Using the App" is checked.

Be more specific, in Privacy, Location Services, what happens when you tap on Message and/or what does the iPhone display after you tap on Message?

In Settings, iCloud, does your name/first name/email address of the Apple account appear at the top of the page?
