My PC starts up correctly but my screen won't turn on: what should I do? Solved

Question

Since yesterday, my computer starts normally but nothing shows up on the screen.
I tested it with another screen that works, same thing.
I looked inside and everything seems to be well connected, a friend told me to unplug and replug the power supply battery of the motherboard, but I don't know how to do that -.-

So I'm back on the internet with my old PC. I called the customer service of the site where I ordered my PC in parts, and they asked me to send back the motherboard, the processor, and the RAM.

They sent me an email three days after my call to customer service (they had just received the return package) and told me that I had two pins on the motherboard socket bent... (the slot where the processor is placed, for those who don't know)

So I looked around on the internet to see what that could lead to... and I found that just one bent pin can cause the motherboard to fail... :S but some people managed to straighten them out! (I hope the technician can do it; otherwise, no warranty :S)

It's been a week and a half that I could have enjoyed my new PC, but no, it had to happen to me!!
(I think it was already like that because I paid close attention when placing the CPU according to the notch and did it gently!! Customer service doesn't want to hear anything... :'( )

So if this can help others on this topic:
THE PROBLEM COULD COME FROM THE MOTHERBOARD AT THE SOCKET LEVEL (personally, my socket is 775)

Hello everyone.
Due to the heat, my PC would turn off by itself as a safety measure, I think.
I left it off all afternoon and this evening, when I started it, the PC starts normally but the screen shows "No signal / Sleeping mode.

I tried this:

\\ 1/- You can disconnect all cables like mouse, keyboard... just leave the monitor cable, try turning on your PC, if the screen doesn't light up, try completely powering it off and turning it on at least four times.
If the problem persists then move on to the second method.

2/. Now you need to open the case of your PC and try to locate a jumper near the battery, refer to your PC's manual "motherboard".
The jumper has three (03) pins and a plastic connector that you need to set to "clear cmos" (please check the motherboard manual). Then put it back in its original position.
Start your PC, it will show you two (02) options F1 and F2, choose what you want. \\

@Skinner: your black screen problem is quite simple. When you connected your flat screen (and given that it’s a bit bigger than the old CRT screen), the resolution was automatically adjusted but the issue is that it exceeded the limit of the screen, so the screen goes into standby because the display area is out of bounds.

To summarize, the causes could be (not in order):

1. RAM needs to be changed to a different slot.
2. dead processor.
3. dead graphics card.
4. power supply not powerful enough.
5. resolution too high for the screen.
6. screen cable or the screen itself faulty.

For my part, I took out the RAM sticks from their slots and I also removed the battery from the motherboard, then I put everything back in place and... KABOOM! It works perfectly.

Hello, a piece of advice to everyone facing this issue:

I had the same problem and it turns out that the issue was with my power strip (where everything was plugged in).

It may seem silly, but check that before taking your computer apart ;)
