Hello,
I notice that in my Workstation the name "Bureau" is now indicated in English as "desktop"!
Is it possible to change it back to the French name?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 54.0.2840.99

Hello,
Maybe a system file issue, try the following steps first.
Press the Ctrl+Alt+Del keys simultaneously, select Task Manager.
In the menu bar, click on File then Run new task.
In Create a task, type cmd and check the box below mentioning administrator privileges, then confirm by clicking Ok.
At the cursor location, type sfc /scannow then press Enter on the keyboard. (Space between the c of sfc and the /)
Let the verification (and any repairs of files) complete and restart the computer as soon as it is finished.
Check if the display Desktop for Bureau has changed.
Best regards.

Hello glg29
I have a question: how can we know everything you advised me to help? I am astonished, especially in the part where I went into the task manager and the rest. Do you have to have a degree in computer engineering?
I really like computers and I try every day to understand this or that, but I could never have guessed all this! If you are an engineer, I understand, but if not, how does one reach such a level?
I apologize for bothering you.

Hello Liliane Boemare,
You’re not bothering me, don’t worry!
No, I’m not an engineer, but I have a few years of practice behind all this, along with quite a bit of reading specialized books, but I remain humble; I’m content to do what I know and I still have much to learn.
To get back to our problem, I think it would be good to try a repair of Windows 10; it takes a bit of time, but it's worth a try.
In the search bar (the small circle at the bottom left of the screen, in the taskbar) type Recovery.
Click on Recovery options in the next window.
Under Reset this PC, click on Get started.
In the next window, click on Keep my files and then follow the procedure to the end.
However, if you have installed some personal software since you got the PC, you will need to reinstall them; the procedure above only keeps files, documents, photos, etc., etc.........
Then check if that cursed Desktop is still acting up!
Best regards.
