Hello,
I would like to know how much RAM I can add to my Asus R510J.
I opened my computer to check the RAM and I only see 2 GB, but I know that there is 6 GB maybe I cannot change the 4 GB but I would like to at least change my 2 GB stick to 8 GB. How can I find out if I can do that? Thank you in advance.

we need to know the exact model to be sure
if it's the R510JX-DM085H, there is a 4GB soldered module, and a 2GB one in the slot, which you can replace with an 8GB one for a maximum of 12GB

I recommend using exactly the same module as the soldered one to be in Dual Channel, and 8GB should be sufficient in principle
what are your needs actually? your applications?
do you often saturate your 6GB?
have you checked in the task manager?
