Hello,
I have an ASUS X554L with the following specifications (at the bottom of the message) and I want to add an 8GB RAM module.
I was thinking about this RAM model: (found on https://www.crucial.fr/): Crucial 8GB DDR3L-1600 SODIMM
Brand: Crucial
Warranty: DRAM comes with a limited lifetime warranty
Series: Crucial
Product size: SODIMM
Density: 8GB
Product details: DDR3 PC3-12800 • CL=11 • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR3-1600 • 1.35V • 1024Meg x 64 •
Quantity per kit: 1
Speed: 1600 MT/S
Tracer: False
DIMM type: Unbuffered
Memory features: NON-ECC
Voltage: 1.35V
ASUS X554L PC specification:
So I would like to know if I have chosen the right RAM model; aside from the frequency, it seems good to me! Thank you for your advice.
Configuration: Linux / Firefox 70.0

Hello,
If you have tested your configuration on the Crucial website with the diagnostic tool, it should be fine!
