Reset a layer to its original state

Hello,

I’m doing colorization of a drawing, so I created several layers. At first I made changes on my "contours" layer that I had vectorized. However, as I continued my work I realized I had made a mistake. I’d like to revert my vectorized layer to its original state without touching the other layers. Help please ^^

    if you made a mistake a outline doesn’t prevent correcting a path, you may not have to redo everything
    you select it with the white arrow, you modify it, the outline will follow the modification of the path

      Sorry if I phrased myself poorly. In fact my layer is called "contour," but in this layer there is no "contour that prevents modifying a path." To simplify I want: restore a layer to its original state (regardless of its content).

      restoring a layer to its original state is possible in 2 situations:
      - either you have a history state that allows it (enough history steps)
      - or you have created a snapshot before starting your edits
      and in both cases, all manipulations performed after the targeted step will be removed

      if you do not have either a sufficient history to go back to the transformation of the layer in question, nor a snapshot allowing you to restart from that step, it is impossible

      edit: of course, if the file has been closed, there is no history anymore, so no solution either
