Hey there!

I have a little problem with the layers in Photoshop. When I start coloring my drawing like this:

I rename the base of my drawing, and I set it to multiply mode.

I create a layer underneath. I select it and I start to... get frustrated. When I start coloring with orange, my brown turns red -_-.

I suppose my color is being influenced by the base color, but I’m not interested in that :/

I completed the tutorial, it works perfectly.
For your colors to change, you must have a blending mode that is not working somewhere.
A blending mode only affects the layers below the one it is applied to; if you haven't painted on a layer in multiply mode or anything other than normal above and if you consistently place your new painting layers at the bottom, it cannot change the color.
I see only one solution, check that your brush is also in "normal" mode (at the top in the brush options).
Also, check that you haven't painted anywhere on your background layer, click on the eye for all your other layers to hide them, and if you have painted on your background, use a white brush.
We don't use our entire brain; if we want, we can be even more foolish...
