Hello, I have an ASUS X301A laptop. It comes with Windows 8, but I would like to switch to Windows 7. The problem is that it does not have a CD/DVD drive (13.3 inches). I have tried using a USB stick, but when I access the BIOS, I cannot boot from the USB stick. The computer only gives me the option to boot directly into Windows 8 (exactly what I don't want to do). If anyone has a solution, I would appreciate it. Maybe it's impossible on this model? Help please.

Some other information:
When I access the BIOS, I go to BOOT and here's what I'm offered:
Boot configuration
Fast boot (enabled)
Launch CSM (Disabled)
Driver option priorities
Boot option priorities
Boot option #1 (Windows Boot Manager (PO: Hitachi ...) (the other option offered is disabled, no possibility to switch to USB)
Add new boot option
Delete boot option

Hello,

You are on a UEFI BIOS

the logic:
Fast boot-->Disabled
Launch CSM-->enabled

you will need to check the Security tab to disable (disabled) secure boot if present

F10 to save and exit.
