Hello,
I don't know if you've noticed, but when using Word 2016, the document colors "forget" themselves every time it's reopened.
To put it simply, if we want a nice unity in the colors, we seem to be screwed.
I found out how to retrieve the document colors from the style (you have to modify the style, choose a custom color, etc... -_- )
But do you know how to retrieve the colors from a shape present in the document, or how to ensure that the "saved" colors are not forgotten every time it closes?
Thanks in advance, best regards,
Martin
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 53.0.2785.116

Hello Martin,
Indeed, it's not through styles that you're going to get what you want.
You need to create a "theme" that will be used by default for your new documents, in which you define your color palette, 2 fonts, and special effects on shapes.
But I think the next page will explain things to you much better than I can:

Hello and thank you for your response,
I know the themes.
But is it possible to retrieve colors without themes?
Because between us, themes are good for "types of documents", creating a theme for each document is just as tedious as it is time-consuming.- Martin,
if you know the themes, you can create a color palette.
Custom palettes are saved by default in the folder
C:\Users\Your Name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates\Document Themes\Theme Colors
They are named as you give them during creation and are followed by the .xml extension. They are available in the list of palettes in MS Office software.
You can assign it to a specific template or to the Normal.dotm template.
