The entire document is underlined in red

Good evening

I am writing a text in French and everything I type is underlined in red, as if Word is indicating that the written word is a spelling mistake. Furthermore, when I use the spell checker, it suggests names that have nothing to do with French spelling.

Could you help me solve this problem?

    Hello scloer,
    Press Ctrl a to select all the text in your document; then:
    go to the Review tab, Verification group, click on "Set Language";
    choose French, then click on the OK button; if your problem is resolved,
