Retrieve a specific color in 'background pattern/fill'

Hello,
I just created a table in Word and applied one of the orange colors from the 'fill/background' palette to some of its cells.
After opening the same document on another PC (both running W7, but maybe with a different version of Word), I wanted to extend the same color to other cells, but I can’t find the same shade of orange in the palette under 'fill/background'.
How should I proceed to retrieve the original orange color?

You open both files, and you use the "Format Painter" tool (yellow paintbrush).

You talk about your version of Windows (which we don't really care about...), but not about your version of Word... And that's what's important.

I was well aware of it, but I didn't know at the time I wrote the message which one was installed on the first computer. It is Word 2007. The one on the second computer is a more recent version (2010).

  These are therefore recent versions, later than 2003.
  All versions (since 2007) work with themes. Themes are mainly made up of a color scheme and a font scheme. I explain here:

  So, you can, from the first document, retrieve either the theme or just the color scheme, assuming that the document was created with the theme colors.
  To retrieve the color scheme with 2007:
  click on the Modify Styles button, hover over the Colors command, then click on New Theme Colors. Since this last one is likely the one being used, give a name to the color scheme and save it, it's an xml file.
  By default, you will find it here:
  C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\templates\Document Themes\Theme Colors
  
  You copy it and place it on the other PC in the same location (still by default).
  
  From this second PC, you now have access to this color scheme.

    Thank you for this information. I just tried, but apparently, I didn't understand everything...
    I opened the original document on the first computer. / Modify Styles/Colors/New theme colors/save. The new color set appears at the beginning of "Modify styles/colors." But from this point on, I don't know how to copy it, for example, to a USB stick to transport it to the second PC. Indeed, when I right-click on the new color set, I only have 3 options: "modify," "delete," or "add the gallery to the toolbar." There is no 'Save as' or "Export" command, for example. How do I save it to the USB stick? Once this operation is successful, where should I position myself next to copy the new color set? With a "Save as" command?
