Keyboard no longer works to enter user code

Hello,
I have a big problem for which I can't find any solution on the forums, which is why I'm intervening here...
I also don't know the "formalities" of the forum and I'm not very good with spelling, so no need to remind me of that ;)
My problem is that I can no longer type my user code even with another keyboard and even in safe mode.
In fact, my keyboard works at startup just long enough to press F8, and then that's it, nothing more can be done!
To make matters worse, I no longer have my XP Pro installation CD...

Hello,
I don't know if my message is still useful (given the date) but I had a similar problem just 10 minutes ago with none of the keys working.
I pressed (for 3 real seconds) the F12 and F11 keys for a long time, and that unlocked everything... Why? I couldn't say, but it's working again! :)
