Good evening,
I bought a pack of 2 DEVOLO Highspeed adapters with built-in turbo, I plugged them in as instructed and I had an immediate connection to the INTERNET. Unfortunately, to secure this connection I followed the instructions from the accompanying CD for encryption and password, and since then "CANNOT DISPLAY THE PAGE" "WEAK OR NON-EXISTENT CONNECTION". I am desperate. WINDOWS XP tells me that the renewal of my IP address was unsuccessful. I don’t know what to do. I would like to cancel this connection and start over as the first time everything worked great, but I don’t know how to delete this connection in the control panel because the option to delete this connection does not appear. I have an ALICE subscription and an ALICE BOX type SAGEM. Could you advise me? To regain a connection I reactivated my WIFFI key, but I want to use my DEVOLO because they are expensive and I wouldn’t want to have bought them for nothing.
Thank you very much for your advice.

Hello
This is due to the fact that you are using the Ethernet port of your PC which is DHCP, meaning it does not have a default IP address... nothing to do with devolo.
You need to be connected to the router to obtain an IP address or enter a static IP address.
In your case, the simplest way is:
to connect one adapter to one of the RJ45 Ethernet ports of your router
(this way, this adapter "injects" the IP network onto the powerline)
and connect the second adapter to the electrical network and connect your PC via RJ45 Ethernet.
That way, your PC will receive an IP address through the network and the router, and it will no longer say "no connection".
Then you launch the network configuration utility to change your password. (assign a new password to the adapters, and make sure to note the security codes on the back of the devolo adapters)
Best regards,

I've just reinstalled my devolo following your instructions, I launched the configuration utility for the password and entered the security codes and...... Miracle! The connection is back as it should be. I didn't believe it anymore.
Thank you so much for your help
