Hello
Since my return from vacation, it's impossible to send "cegetel" messages from my PC via Windows Live Mail.
I can still see the "Cegetel" emails
. When I use a "gmail" address, I can send and receive emails
. When I log in directly to SFR mail via the internet, it works --> no problem with SFR
however, I can't send emails with the "Cegetel" addresses
Error message:
Unable to find host smtp.cegetel.net. Please check that you have entered the server name correctly.
Subject 'test'
Server: 'smtp.cegetel.net'
Windows Live Mail error number: 0x800CCC0D
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure (SSL): No
Socket error: 11004
I've checked the account properties 10 times!... I have
Incoming mail POP: pop.cegetel.net server 110
Outgoing mail SMTP: smtp.cegetel.net server 25
the secure connection boxes are not checked, nor is the one that requires authentication.
If anyone can put me on the right track, I would appreciate it.
Thank you in advance.
Best regards, JD

Still impossible to send emails from my "Cegetel" inboxes.
Even after changing the ports, the result is still not working.
The issue is not with my settings as the problem is the same on all my devices (PC, Mac, and phone).
The problem comes from the Cegetel server managed by SFR.
Still waiting for information......
Thank you, regards.

I still have the problem on iPhone and iPad. I tried putting SFR instead of Cégétel but I still can't send messages. I called Apple who eventually told me that I needed to contact Cégétel...
Always the same, I tried disconnecting the antivirus, same thing.
I also contacted SFR, who, assuming it works when connecting directly to SFR mail, says it’s not their issue!…
Best regards

We're getting there little by little. Although I don't understand why I can't modify 1 out of 3 messaging apps (on my smartphone), even though they're identical... a mystery!!!
In any case, we need to remember this because they'll pull the same trick with incoming messages.
Little by little, they're getting rid of the settings and configurations for everything that's not SFR (Cegetel, Neuf,....)
To be continued....

I modified the settings on my PC as advised by "cegeteHS", it's working!....
Thanks a lot
Now, I still need to know if I should do the same for incoming emails with POP (for the moment, it works with pop.cegetel.net server 110
