Hello,
Yesterday, my HP laptop crashed. After restarting, I realized that my Wi-Fi had completely disappeared, not even an icon on the taskbar. After searching the internet, I eventually went into the Device Manager, and on the device for my Wi-Fi component, the following error report appeared:
This device cannot find enough free resources for it to work properly. (code 12)
At the same time, I noticed that my USB device had the same message this time with code 24.
So, I am currently following this procedure to resolve the issue
https://www.solvusoft.com/fr/errors/erreurs-gestionnaire-p%C3%A9riph%C3%A9riques/microsoft-corporation/windows-operating-system/code-12/
The only problem is that if my Wi-Fi isn't working, I can't update my drivers, and I can't even transfer them via USB key..
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 53.0.2785.70

I was able to solve this problem by following the tutorial above; my hard drive was corrupted, and I had to perform this operation to resolve the issue:
While most errors are related to storage, blue screen errors 12 are associated with hard drive driver issues or storage controller problems; in some cases, BSODs can be attributed to hard drive corruption.
Over time, your computer can develop hard drive errors due to repetitive and unintentional misuse. Improper shutdowns, programs that "do not respond," corrupted or incomplete installations (e.g., Windows Operating System), Microsoft Corporation hardware failures, and power outages can corrupt your file system and data. Therefore, you may encounter blue screen errors associated with Code 12.
Microsoft has included a very useful utility called "chkdsk" ("Check Disk") to diagnose and repair hard drive corruption. If the previous troubleshooting steps did not resolve your stop error 12, running "chkdsk" may identify and fix the source of your BSOD.
How to run "chkdsk" (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 10):
Click the Start button.
Type "command" in the search box... DO NOT PRESS ENTER yet!
While holding down the CTRL-Shift keys on your keyboard, press ENTER.
You will be prompted with an authorization dialog box.
Click Yes.
A black box will open with a blinking cursor.
Type "chkdsk /f" and press ENTER.
"chkdsk" will begin diagnosing hard drive corruptions that may be causing the stop errors of 12.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
Best regards
