Hello,

I am looking to connect an RJ45 directly to my existing phone line. This will be the only socket in the house like this.
Despite my searches on the internet, I haven't found anything that matches exactly and I prefer not to make a mistake.
Here is a photo

Thank you in advance for your help

    Hi,
    don't make any mistakes...
it's not too risky for a phone.
You show a 12 terminal strip with an incoming (the black cable) and 3 outgoing, the gray ones; I suppose this is not where you want to connect your RJ45, otherwise, it blocks the 3 outgoing.
Is this a phone line or a totally unbundled ADSL?
    Otherwise,
you connect the gray/white pair of the incoming or one of the outgoing) to the terminals 4/5 of your RJ45, disregarding the rest (if you connect to the black incoming cable, you can connect the blue/clear pair to 1/2, but normally, it's not used today)
You don't worry about the numbers on the 12 terminal strip, which roughly correspond to those of the T socket.

    and... There you go!

      Hi,

      Thank you for your reply.
I believe I am not on unbundled service.
The RJ45 cable is connected to a RJ45 socket that I installed at the other end of the house; I just need to connect it to the existing socket.
Regarding the RJ45 cable, I have brown, brown/white, orange, orange/white, blue, blue/white, green, and green/white.
If I understand correctly, can I connect directly to the top terminals?
As for the colors, how should I connect them? Is there any importance to it?

        Oh?
        It's not the same...
Is it the other end of a new cable?
What do you want to run through it?
Your telephone line or an ethernet network?
You didn't install a wall socket (female) for this new cable?
The colors, yes, they matter, even a lot; you absolutely have to respect the pairs.
