Hello,
I have an issue with InDesign; I have a portfolio of about a hundred pages.
I have a cover page first, then a blank double page, and finally a fourth page from which the page numbering should start. However, InDesign is taking the first three pages into account, so the numbering starts at 4 instead of 1. How can I solve this problem, please?
Thank you!

Hello,
Two solutions:
Either you use a different template without a folio for your first three pages, and your page 4 will start with folio 1.
Or, if it's the same template used: go to the page palette and position yourself on the relevant page, right-click --> section numbering option.
Then set 1 to "Page numbering start."
But there are two mistakes: there shouldn't be a blank double page (what's the point?).
Cover page (1)
Blank page (2) - Back of the cover.
Page 3: start of the portfolio. This is where you need to set the section numbering option and not on page 4.
Even folios are always on the left, odd ones on the right.
It would be a mistake to place folio 1 on page 4.
