Hello,
I would like to know how to number the pages starting from page 3, knowing that the first two pages are the cover page and the table of contents, which should not be numbered, so my page 3 = 3, then 4, 5, 6... I have already tried some manipulations but it didn’t work
Thank you for your help

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 7.0

To remove page numbers at the beginning of a Word 2010 document:
Place the cursor at the end of the pages that should not be numbered, go to "Page Layout," select "Break," and under Section Breaks, choose "Next Page."
Next, place the cursor on the first page to be numbered, then go to "Insert," select "Page Number," and choose the style you prefer.
Then, click to deselect "Link to Previous" (in the creation menu bar), select the page number (the first page you want to number) with the cursor, right-click, choose "Format Page Numbers," check "Start at" and enter "1," then click "OK."
Finally, go back to the last page of the pages that should not be numbered, select the page number with the cursor, and delete it; the numbers on the previous pages will automatically be deleted at the same time.
