Number only certain pages in "Pages for Mac"

Hello,

I am in an automatic pagination of my "Pages" file,
I saw that I could "start the pagination from a certain page",
but how, occasionally, here and there, do I not number a page (a full photo page for example, which I don't want to number, or an introduction page to a new chapter,...) ?

If I manually remove the number from the problematic page, all the page numbers in the document disappear at the same time...

A real puzzle! :(

Thank you all! :)

Hello,

what I am going to propose may seem a bit "brutal", and there might be a more elegant solution planned, but since I used it one day when I didn't have time to dig through the Pages manual...

- I pasted a small "white rectangle" over the number on the pages where I didn't want the numbering to appear... it worked on screen and in print...

See here if there is more information on this point, I still haven't looked into it:

Best regards.
