The file explorer icon has disappeared. Solved

Question

Hello,

I usually access the File Explorer by clicking an icon on the taskbar. But this icon has disappeared! Can you tell me how to bring it back?
(I know I can launch the explorer by typing Windows-e, but I would like to recover my icon).

hello.  left click on the Windows logo at the bottom left then you will arrive at your tiles. you click on the small arrow at the bottom all your applications will appear.  with your mouse wheel, you scroll through the list of apps horizontally. and you will see in Windows system.  there is File Explorer. a right click on it pin to taskbar  and problem solved ;)  -- Gaming is not a crime. Phew, it's resolved. I just had to press Windows i to bring up the search/explorer tool, then right-click/pin to the taskbar.  Thanks anyway.

when you're on the screen of your tiles, you should have a small arrow.

Click on it, and from there you have all your programs and apps listed in alphabetical order.

With the mouse wheel, you scroll to the right, and you should see the Windows system ;)

You are right.

In my defense, the small arrow doesn't appear all the time... It seems to me that it only shows up when the mouse pointer has moved. I didn't move my mouse because I didn't see that arrow. I should have moved it anyway; I didn't have the right reflex.

Yes, the small arrow appears when you move the cursor, I actually think this "option" is a bit stupid..

This operation is useful for easily pinning any software or app to the taskbar, I find it quite fast, especially for regular users ;)
