The decoder always says "no signal"

Hello, I can't seem to install my decoder correctly. I autoscan all the channels and it says ok, but when I choose a channel, it says "no signal"... Help please.

    Hello...

    is it a MPEG4 decoder, the latest ones, or an old one?
    When it says OK, it should tell you how many it has found....
