Internal speakers sound problem on Mac

Hello, good evening

After searching for days in vain, I thought maybe someone here could help me.

I have a problem with my 2009 Unibody MacBook Pro. Everything was working really well, with no issues until a few days ago when I made the (bad) decision to update the OS X and move to El Capitan. Since then, no sound comes out of the computer.

In the list of available audio devices, no device is visible. The same when I plug in headphones or external speakers. Nothing changes.

The only way to get sound at the moment is to connect speakers via Bluetooth. There, there is no problem with the sound.

I've tried a lot of things, such as restoring the OS, resetting, deleting preference files related to audio (for example com.apple.audio.AudioMIDISetup), resetting SMC, plugging in headphones and unplugging them, etc... But unfortunately nothing works.

What else can I do to try to resolve this problem?

Thanks

    Good evening,

I notice one thing on your screenshot, the "silence" box is checked :-)

      Good evening,

That is indeed the case, except that the box is grayed out. I can’t uncheck this box and I haven’t found any solution to be able to uncheck it.

A strange peculiarity, how strange ;-)
      Are you the Mac administrator?
In System Preferences/Sound, you’re indeed on the Output tab/ but you don’t have "line output" try the other tab "sound effects"

Otherwise, since you’re on El Capitan, boot from the recovery partition, while holding the Cmd and R keys, you’ll reach the utilities window, run Disk Utility and perform a disk repair and a permissions repair, then reboot.
