Window issue on Facebook

Hello,
I have a problem on Facebook. A window pops up saying:
Sorry, an error has occurred. Please try closing and then reopening your browser window.
So I did that, but it didn't work and I have no viruses on my computer. As a result, there are things I can no longer do on Facebook, such as playing games.
I thank everyone who will help me solve this problem.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 9.0

    It could be your Web Browser that is outdated or surely Adobe Flash that is not up to date.

      Hi, thank you for getting back to me. I have downloaded Adobe Flash perfectly, and now when I go on Facebook, I always get the same window "Sorry, an error has occurred. Try closing and then reopening your browser window," but on the other hand, a taskbar tells me I need to update my browser which I have done, and I still have the same problem, I really don’t understand. If I delete my Facebook account and then sign up again, will I lose everything? That is to say, my friends list, my photos, my messages, my games like Farmville 2 that I've been playing for months, etc., etc.... Thank you in advance for your response, as well as to anyone else who could really help me. PS: my computer works perfectly on all other websites and there are no viruses either.
