Hello
For some time now I've been having problems with my graphics card (NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 850 M) and I can no longer play Heroes & Generals. My fps are very low even though my PC configuration is made for gaming:
Intel inside CORE I7
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M (2 GB of dedicated RAM)
8 GB RAM
Windows 10
Model R510J
I'm worried as I paid 1000 euros for it
Best regards, thank you

Hi,
You need to check that the game is launching on the dedicated graphics card (the GTX 850M) and not on the integrated graphics chipset (Intel HD XXXX).
To do this: right-click on the desktop > Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D settings > then:- In Global settings > Preferred graphics processor > choose High-performance Nvidia processor
- In Program settings > 1. select a program to customize > choose your game's .exe > 2. select the preferred graphics processor for this program > choose High-performance Nvidia processor
Best regards,
titou

It's funny, says the one who downvoted my comment!
The day when only a pseudo-solution will be the correct one will be the day when no one will visit this forum to ask for help anymore ^^
A justification?
The nVidia 3D settings are hardly ever affected. Very, very rarely. In any case, everyone will set the GTX as the preferred graphics processor rather than the integrated one.
This solution is therefore nearly impossible and does not solve the problem. Hence the downvote (especially when I saw my comment downvoted, knowing that there were only two of us commenting on this topic... look for the mistake)
Since it doesn’t solve the problem, it must stem from elsewhere.
Indeed, @jazz specifies that he is experiencing frame rate drops. This necessarily implies that his problem hasn’t always been present.
There must have been a starting point.
This starting point can have several causes; the most common being a graphics driver issue, which is why I suggested updating his graphics driver.
If that still doesn't solve the problem, a solution that is as simple as it is effective in the vast majority of cases is a system restore.
If, after these two solutions have been executed, the problem persists, he would need to look at more technical solutions.
So, if this "justification," or rather "argumentation," is not sufficient, please let me know in the comments. And don’t complain when the “downvoter” is “downvoted.” -

Hello!
First of all, the nVidia 850m is not gaming-oriented. It's just equivalent to an... amd r7 250 ^^
Is the problem recent? If so, for how many days?
What is the installed OS?
Ideas for solutions:
1. Have you checked or even reinstalled the graphics driver? This usually resolves the issue.
For a Windows Seven x64: https://www.nvidia.fr/download/driverResults.aspx/96146/fr
2. Are the graphical settings too high? Don't expect to play on ultra with such a card ;-)
... 9. Last resort, a system restore. Recently installed software will be removed...
Have a great day!

Haha. You have no idea what he did before... and you forget that an 850m natively benefits from Optimus technology. It's the nVidia drivers that "choose" whether the graphics are handled by the processor's chipset or the nVidia card, depending on usage, in order to limit overall power consumption.
Before judging, it would be wise to do some research.
To those who understand...
