Send a download to my email inbox

Hello,

A download is a procedure that allows you to transfer a file from the location where that file is found on a website to the Downloads folder or any other folder of your choice (through the menus of the window that appears when you click on the file link).

This is done in the browser you are using (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc.).

Therefore, there is no need to send the file to your email to retrieve a file.

However, if you want to send a personal file or one retrieved to someone else, the method depends on the email software.

There are two types:

email clients, which are software that needs to be installed, the most well-known being Outlook.

webmails, which are very numerous, but you should simply know that each internet service provider offers one, like orange.fr or free.fr.

For both systems, you can attach a file present on your hard drive (or a USB stick).
