Hello,
Today, I bought an HDMI/VGA adapter so I could connect my external screen to my laptop (Alienware from 3 years ago). Every time I turn on the screen, the LG logo appears and then it says "Power Saving Mode," and the screen goes black.
Apparently, I can connect 2 screens and I have tried all the solutions, but they all talk about desktop PCs, so my problem is not solved.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 46.0.2490.86

Hello
Usually on a laptop, you only have one video output.
Try the Windows key + P and duplicate or extend your screen.
It may be that the adapter is not compatible.

P.S. Frequent creation of a restore point! It solves quite a few problems.

And what do we do if we're on console?
