Hello,
Hello, I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 tablet and for a while now I've been getting the message "Google Play services has stopped" as well as "the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped". A short while ago, the tablet shut down by itself. I emptied the download caches as recommended in the forums but it doesn't work - Can you help me - thank you

I had the same problem, Google Play services kept stopping, repeatedly closing the app I was using.
I was ready to reset my Samsung Tab 2 when I tried one last manipulation.
I went to settings, then application manager, found the Google Play services app, opened it, and in the right panel, I had to disable it. There is a message that says data will be lost, you must respond yes, the app stops and the system suggests resetting the app's factory settings, you must respond yes. Then the system offers updates that need to be done, and it reloads all the services and apps related to Google Play by itself... no more error messages, and everything works well again...
