Avoiding spaces in justified text in Word 2013

Hello,

I am working with Word 2013 and although I check the box "do not stretch..." (which, as you will notice, has evolved and is no longer meant to be misleading), it still doesn't work. I have huge gaps in the middle of my paragraphs (in columns).
On the other hand, the tabulation technique for the last line: perfect!!!

The biggest problem comes from the paragraph itself. And I can't use hyphenated words; everything must be perfectly aligned on both sides.

Thank you for your prompt solution.
Best regards.

Good evening

The "stretch etc." option allows you not to justify the last line when it ends with a Shift+Enter (that is, a line break and not a paragraph break).
This option does not serve and has never served to reduce the space between words in a justified paragraph.
The "last line technique," which is pure tinkering, is absolutely useless if this option is checked (it should actually be checked by default). And if this last line is an end of a paragraph, it will not be justified.

So, to return to the huge gaps... ;)) there are not twelve thousand solutions: either you do not justify, or you opt for word breaks (Page Layout tab, Hyphenation button).

Thank you m@rina for your response.
That's what I thought, but nothing ventured, nothing gained...

In reality, Word is, as you know, a word processing software. And when justifying text, Word distributes the spaces at the end of the line between the words. With Word 2013, there was an improvement, but well, to achieve better results, one should use a DTP software like InDesign or Xpress.
