Hello,
My son had fun scratching my LCD screen a bit; it’s shallow, but when the image is clear, it shows up quite well.
I looked online to see if there was any trick, and I came across the toothpaste one that seems to work well, but I have two questions.
The first is that toothpastes are white, so will I end up with a white line?
And then, it’s indicated to use a non-abrasive toothpaste. Okay, but how can I tell? This information isn’t mentioned on the tube or box.
Thanks in advance.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 43.0.2357.132

Hello. This method worked perfectly on my wife's phone screen but, of course, the surface is not the same........... You can only judge by trying. Good luck.

Hello,
For the toothpaste, I would say meh, see this topic (well, it works on smartphones but on TVs, so it might be worth testing, but what about ???) but with Vaseline, why not... :
Tip found here: https://forum.lesnumeriques.com/t/comment-eliminer-une-rayure-sur-un-ecran-lcd/42248
And commented here, among others: http://www.configspc.com/forum/ecran-lcd-raye-t15475.html
Then you can call the guy from Carglass ;)
Best regards
