MAGIX Video Deluxe won't open anymore...

Hello

I bought the software about 6 months ago and everything was working pretty well until today. I wanted to fine-tune and export all the projects I had completed (I spent dozens of hours on them!) but when I open the software, nothing shows up (not even an error message)! I’ve tried waiting but nothing happens.

How can I get it to work again?? Thank you for your help if you can...

    Hello
before you mess up your computer at the slightest incident, uninstalling a software "properly" is a delicate operation. If you encounter persistent bugs, consider performing a "system restore to an earlier date" before the bug; this is the term from Windows that you type in the search box at the bottom left of the home page “search programs and files” and follow the instructions
Or go to “control panel” system and security, maintenance center, “restore system to an earlier date” “open system restore” yes, next
    It's risk-free and often beneficial

OK thanks a lot, I'll do it tomorrow.
But I saw that the restoration does not delete files (photos, documents, music...) or installed programs, is that true?
And my projects that were in progress in Video Deluxe, will I find them after the restoration exactly as they were before the bug?

Hello, if your project is saved, there’s no reason for it to disappear because it’s a virtual file that pulls its content from different folders on your hard drive, like pictures, screenshots, and music, and if I’m wrong, you’ll "chew me out."

Thank you, and just out of curiosity, do you have an idea of how long it might take so I can decide if I have time to do it later?

Hello, for me it takes less than five minutes and we can return to the current date if we wish. However, if the date is earlier and very far back, the Windows updates will reinstall automatically and take a bit of time, a few minutes.

I was going to do it but it doesn't work because the "System Restore" button is not highlighted (I can't click on it). What can I do???
