Hello,
I just bought MAGIX Video easy HD, I installed everything including the USB driver. However, it doesn't show up in Windows Explorer. The same goes for Pinnacle Studio 9, so I can't transfer my HI 8 videos to my computer for editing.
I think there's a procedure to follow! Which one?
If you can help me, that would be great in clear language.
Thank you in advance

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 56.0.2924.87

What is the source for acquiring the Magix software?

Hello, thank you for your response. But I think the source of acquisition is
SONY Video HI8 CCD TRV 66E PAL.
      I'm not a technical expert (I'm 78 years old), so it's difficult.
      Thank you
PS I hope I responded well.

To answer your question after research, I believe that the source of acquisition is a high-end USB Video Converter, as noted on the packaging.
        Best regards

Hello, a good installation of the software is essential, and you will also need to use the Magix editing software, but I can't help you too much from a distance.

However, Studio is a competitor, so don't open it, plus it’s outdated.

Thank you for your advice, but unfortunately I think that the seller at Boulanger sold me software for a VCR.
I have installed the software, but the converter must not be suitable for a HI 8 camcorder.
    Thanks again.

Hello, a converter is an analog capture box for transferring via USB to MPEG2 format 720x576 to your computer, and it comes with editing software.
Your Hi8 camcorder fits well in this context, it is connected via an S-video or composite (RCA yellow plug) connection plus audio.
However, the software name corresponds only to the classic editing software; please provide me with the references of your transfer equipment.

Good evening, I think I understood. It's nothing more than a USB key from Magix Software GmbH, Model No. K0065. That's all I can find. Thank you very much. Best regards.

Hello, your equipment does import analog flows, the brand is well-known and therefore reliable. It's just a matter of adapting, and when you have questions, I will try to help you.

Hello, the solution is simple: you need to disable the webcam and then reinstall the USB driver.
Thank you again for your information. Have a nice day.
