Hello,
I have a CANON PIXMA MP 237 printer and an ASUS PC with Windows 8.
I've been using it for a year and everything was fine, but today, when I tried to use the scan function, I received a message saying, "You need a WIA driver to use this device. Install it from the installation CD or the manufacturer's website and try again"...............
The driver is not listed on the manufacturer's website........
I checked in "add/remove programs" and my printer is showing as the connected printer on my PC........
What should I do?

Try this.

If that doesn't work, check if you have system restore points from before your problem.
If so! restore your PC to an earlier date.
Whoever loves instruction! find the knowledge that comes from reflection!
PS. Frequently create a restore point! it solves quite a few issues.
