Hello,

I have a little problem with Microsoft Office Word Professional Plus 2013.

For a week now, when I open a Word document, there is a duplicate of that same document that opens by itself. Besides this annoying duplicate, there is also a message that appears when opening documents:
" File Conversion - ~ $ nereader6.sprint.dot
text encoding: Win, MS, DOS, Other encoding
"

Could you help me get rid of these duplicate documents in Word and the above-mentioned message?

Thank you in advance,
Digital Beauty

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 37.0

    Re C-Claire,

Thank you for the information provided.

    I have deleted ~$nereader6.sprint.dot and FineReader6.

When opening the documents in Word, I no longer have the previous message "File Conversion - ~$nereader6.sprint.dot
Text encoding: Win, MS, DOS, Other encoding".

But I still have the duplicate "$~" when opening a document in Word.
    Let me explain:
The opened document immediately creates a duplicate, and when the document is closed, the duplicate disappears...

Can you help me get rid of this duplicate ~$ please?

    Thank you in advance,

When you launch Word in safe mode (holding CTRL) and then open a document, do you also see the "duplicate"?
Try repairing Office anyway: Control Panel, Programs and Features, right-click on MS Office 2013, Modify then Repair.

      P.S.: Otherwise, continue tomorrow...
