there seems to be an add-in that has been installed and is causing chaos.
First, try starting Word in safe mode: to do this, hold down the CTRL key and open Word. From Word, open your document.
If it works better, you'll need to go to File, Options, Add-ins and try to determine which one you need to remove or disable.
According to the name mentioned in your error message, it could be FineReader.

You can also check the (default hidden) folder
"C:\Users\your name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\Startup" to see if the file ~$nereader6.sprint.dot exists.
If so, delete it.

But that's completely normal! It's not a duplicate. It's the normal operation of Word that creates a temporary file in the same folder when you open a document. The name of this temporary file is the same as the opened one, except that it starts with ~$. It will be deleted automatically when the document is closed, unless there is a crash or other problem.
