Automatic slide transition

Hello,
I am currently creating a slideshow with PowerPoint 2007, and on each slide, I have custom animations that follow one after the other. I would like the automatic transition to the next slide to happen automatically throughout the slideshow. In the animations tab, under "Advance to the next slide," I checked the "Automatically after" box and set it to 8 seconds (the duration of the longest slide). I have selected all the slides in the viewer and even clicked on "Apply to All," but nothing works; the slideshow only moves to the next slide if I click... Does anyone have an explanation?
Thanks in advance

After searching, I finally found it!!
For those who are interested, you need to go to the "slideshow" tab, then click on "set up slideshow" and there in the "slide show timing" section select "use existing timing"
All of this with the "automatically after" box checked for each slide (in animations)
