Hello,
I recently bought an LG Sound Bar LG NB300 that I wanted to connect to my Philips Screeneo projector. I connected the two via Bluetooth, but the problem is that when I'm watching a movie, the sound and the image are always out of sync (the image is ahead of the sound). There is indeed a synchronization function on the soundbar, but all I can do is increase the delay even more... I watch my movies on a Samsung BD-H5500 Blu-ray player connected via HDMI to the projector. I am wondering if this delay is due to the fact that the sound journey from the device to the projector and then via Bluetooth to the soundbar is longer than that of the image, and if connecting my soundbar using an optical cable to the projector would fix the issue... Thank you in advance!

Hi,

You need to connect the Samsung to the LG soundbar with an optical cable to eliminate the lag.

Hi
The problem is that the Samsung doesn't have an optical output, only a coaxial one, but the soundbar doesn't have a coaxial input... The only input on the soundbar is the optical one (in addition to Bluetooth), so would connecting the projector via optical improve things a bit or would it not make any difference?

The sound goes from the Samsung to the Philips, which then sends it via Bluetooth to the LG soundbar... might as well connect the Samsung directly to the LG for sound.

You need a coaxial to optical converter like this one:
