Hello,
I recently purchased the game "Dragonball Xenoverse" on the InstantGaming site.
No problem with the Steam key, the game installs correctly, however I have a problem when launching the game "The application failed to start correctly (0xc000007b)."
I have tried:
- Deleting and reinstalling ALL Visual C++ (2005, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013) in both 32 and 64 bits
- The same for NetFramework from version 3 to 5, and even 5.2
- The same for DirectX11
- Reinstalling the game several times as well as Steam
- Running CCleaner and all that stuff
- Adding the 5 infamous DLLs which changed nothing...
Today I'm desperate and I'm asking for your help! ^^
Thank you very much :)
Config: AMD FX 8350 (8 x 4 GHz), Nvidia GTX 770 (Gigabyte), 8 GB RAM, I run at 1920x1080... well, the rest doesn't really matter ^^

If it doesn't work with DirectX 9, I suggest this little German software that cleanly uninstalls all components and reinstalls them. You just have to click the button on the left to start the procedure.

Hey, I found this on the web. Let me know!

Hey, have you done all the Windows updates? The optional updates?

Have you tested the restore points? Do you have any old ones where the problem probably isn't present?

Each program uses specific files. If your other programs are working well, it's pure luck. Still, try to perform the oldest possible restore.
- I only have one restore point before the game's installation and it didn't fix anything.
I just installed it on my laptop (i7 4510u, GTX 850m, 4gb ram, 1360x768)
The game launches without any problems.. But I want it on my desktop, I don't buy games to play on a laptop..
So now I really don't understand..

PROBLEM SOLVED...
It was due to some directX files that were probably damaged.. formatting fixed the issue -
