Hello,
On Windows 7, I installed a HP 8615 printer. Driver, wifi, .............. blah blah blah!
Everything works normally; however, I can't create a shortcut for scanning on the desktop. A right-click on the printer doesn't give me anything, nor does trying to drag the scan icon to the desktop or taskbar when I open it. Even if I open the scan function, I can't create a shortcut from there. Yet I had the old icon, but I don't know how I did it! I’ve tried everything!
Any ideas??
Thanks for your replies!
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 33.0.1750.117

How do you scan without shortcuts on the desktop?
If I understand correctly, the printer is brand new.

I have the printer shortcut on the desktop. From there, I open it and click on the scanner logo. But I would like to put this logo as a shortcut on the desktop, just like I had with the other printer (which was the same model). I remember having a hard time doing it, but now I can't manage to do it.
