Display the facebook icon on my desktop

Hello,
I would like to place the Facebook icon on my desktop.

    So I think you mean a shortcut to Facebook, not an icon, because I don't see the point of having just a simple icon.

    Otherwise, you need to right-click on your Desktop, then:
    New->Shortcut

    For the location, you put the Facebook link, which is: https://www.facebook.com/
    You can name it Facebook

    Then to change the icon, you need to right-click on the created shortcut and then:
    Properties->Tab "Web Document"->"Change Icon" and there you will look for the image you want to use.
