Hello,
When I open a Word file (saved normally), I find myself with a text all underlined in red with a reminder in the right margin (added) of all the changes that have been made recently!
To revert to the normal presentation I had when closing the file, I have to go to the "Review" tab and then to the "Final" or "Final: Show Markup" submenu, initially believing, wrongly, that the next opening would be directly usable.
I looked through the options to see if any of them would allow me to fix the situation... to no avail!
A user may know the answer having fallen into this trap?
Thank you in advance to anyone who can enlighten me or guide me on the option to correct to remedy this situation, which is not vital but annoying, especially for the participants in a working group to whom I send lengthy reports!
Thanks to everyone who took the time to read my message and even more to those who provided a response.
Have a good day RJL5218

Hello.
When there has been a change tracking in a Word document (you do this by going to the Review tab and clicking on the track changes icon or by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+E), it is normal to have these annotations upon reopening said document. Word displays them by default, even if you choose to view "Final" or "Original" before saving the document. If you no longer need or want to see these annotations, still in the Review tab, click on the dropdown list "Accept" and then select "Accept all changes in the document". Save, and that's it. No more annotations even after reopening.

Good evening beam1916,
There you go, I've found my classic situation!
Thank you for this perfect explanation; I went to the Review tab and indeed found the dropdown list "Accept" where I chose "accept all changes in the document" before saving.
Thank you very much because it would have really taken me a long time to find it, especially since the term "Accept" wouldn't have led me on the right track!
Once again, a big thank you; CCM is really essential.
