Hello!

I have a DIGITAL BrandtPRO8 220 camcorder... and 8mm tapes with many beautiful memories on them. I would like to digitize them onto DVD, but unfortunately, my camcorder is out of order, so I can't do it myself.
Would you be so kind as to guide me on how to proceed? Thank you in advance!

    I would have liked to do it myself regarding the actual process, but I don’t know how to go about it since my analog camcorder is broken (no more charger and battery is dead).
    I had thought about finding one online or an equivalent that would allow me to do the transfer, but I can't find one?
    What kind of store can we approach for this service?
    Does Darty, for example, offer this?

      To transfer it yourself, you need
      1- a reader and yours is broken, so you need to buy a second-hand one (a pawn shop, for example)
      2- a digitizing box like Dazzle for €70 new (I recommend against the small USB keys for €20) or also second-hand for about half the price

      So if you don't have a large quantity of tapes to process, it can be just as cost-effective to have it done as to buy equipment and spend time on setup and processing ..............
      Big retailers and photographers either offer or subcontract this service, and small artisans also do this for interesting prices; I gave an example in my previous email

      Then you can go ahead and delete the unnecessary parts and edit it yourself!

      PS: In the title, you put "digital" and then you say "analog", so what is it actually??

    you do this by a pro who has all the equipment to make DVDs
    price examples 8mm and super 8mm film to DVD 4min €4 20min €18.50
    VHS to DVD 60min €6.75 120min €9.95
